Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms cover the services run by TheTower.lol, an independent community project for players of The Tower, operated by TheDisasterFish. The services ("the Services") are:

• the statistics website at thetower.lol;
• the account and verification site at account.thetower.lol; and
• the TheTower.lol Discord bot.

By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. Server administrators can remove the bot from their server at any time.

1. Not affiliated

TheTower.lol is a fan-run project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tech Tree Games (the developer of The Tower), Discord Inc., or Reddit, Inc. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Who can use the Services

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (at least 13, or older where the law in your country requires it). You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and Reddit's terms if you sign in with Reddit.

3. Accounts and verification

Verification links your Discord or Reddit account to your in-game player ID. You may only link accounts and player IDs that belong to you. Do not submit another player's screenshot, an edited image, or anything else meant to impersonate someone. We may review, reject, or revoke any verification, and remove the roles that come with it, if we believe it is not genuine.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
• send automated or excessive requests, scrape the Services beyond normal use, or try to get around rate limits or restrictions;
• try to access data or features you are not allowed to, or probe, disrupt, or attack the Services or the servers they run on;
• use the Services to break the law or the terms of Discord, Reddit, or The Tower.

5. Server administrators

If you add the bot to a Discord server, you are responsible for how you configure it there. This includes which roles it manages and which channels features such as vote counting may read. You are also responsible for letting your members know how the bot is used in your server.

6. Tournament data and moderation

Statistics and results come from The Tower's tournament data and may be incomplete or wrong. To keep results fair, we may flag, hide, or exclude players from leaderboards, results, roles, or verification, for example for suspected cheating, impersonation, or breaking these terms. These decisions are made by our moderators. If you believe one is wrong, contact us (see below).

7. Your data

How we collect, use, and delete data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. The Services are provided "as is"

The Services are free and run by volunteers. We provide them as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of them at any time, with or without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheTower.lol and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, roles, access, or in-game outcomes, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you break these terms or misuse them. You can stop using the Services at any time. To have your data deleted, see the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
